
Incident Management Analyst
Morgan Stanley is seeking an Incident Management Analyst to ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents and to provide support for incident management processes. The ideal candidate has strong problem solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exemplary customer service.The Incident Management Analyst role is an integral part of the incident management team and requires a motivated, highly organized, and customer-focused individual. The successful individual will be knowledgeable in the ITIL framework and will have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with various stakeholders.To be successful in this role, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in incident management, and a working knowledge of ITIL principles. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with IT service management systems such as ServiceNow and possess exceptional customer service, communication, and analytical skills. Responsibilities of an Incident Management Analyst:
- Monitor and investigate incidents and take appropriate action to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Maintain incident management processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical assistance to customers on incidents and ensure quality service delivery.
- Work closely with other stakeholders including IT teams, service providers, and vendors to resolve incidents.
- Utilize IT service management systems such as ServiceNow to monitor and track incidents.
- Use ITIL principles and best practices to ensure incidents are handled in a timely and effective manner.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to incident management processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for optimizing incident management processes.
