Job Description

At Morgan Stanley, we are looking for a Financial Crimes Risk, Data Governance & Technology Analyst who will be a key contributor to our Financial Crime Risk Management team. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in data governance, financial crime risk management, and technology.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced, global team in a leading investment bank. The individual should be a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment, and who is eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.To be successful in this role, candidates should possess excellent analysis and communication skills, and should bring a strong knowledge of financial crime risk management, data governance, and technology. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain financial crime risk management, data governance, and technology systems.
  2. Analyze and monitor data to identify any potential risks.
  3. Maintain compliance with financial crime risk management regulations.
  4. Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and timely data governance.
  5. Develop and maintain reporting tools to monitor financial crime risks and data governance.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with financial crime risk management regulations.
  7. Provide training and guidance to team members on financial crime risk management, data governance, and technology.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to financial crime risk management, data governance, and technology.
  9. Research and evaluate emerging technologies that can be used to improve financial crime risk management and data governance.
  10. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate financial crime risks.
