In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of alternative investment products to high-net-worth individuals and institutions.   1. Develop and implement sales strategies for alternative investment products in the West Coast region, in line with company objectives and targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
  3. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities for alternative investment sales.
  4. Create and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to clients, showcasing the benefits and advantages of alternative investments.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and compliance to ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies.
  6. Stay up-to-date on market trends and changes in the alternative investment landscape, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert on alternative investments, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance to clients and colleagues.
  8. Monitor and track sales performance and provide regular reports to management on progress and areas for improvement.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on alternative investment products and sales techniques.
  10. Represent Morgan Stanley at industry events and conferences to network and promote alternative investment offerings.

  • Expert Knowledge Of Alternative Investment Products: A Successful Executive Director In This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Alternative Investment Vehicles, Such As Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, And Structured Products. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate The Benefits And Risks Of These Products To Clients And Prospects.

  • Proven Track Record In Sales And Business Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Sales Background, With A Track Record Of Achieving And Exceeding Sales Targets. They Should Have Experience In Building And Maintaining Relationships With High Net Worth Individuals And Institutions, And A Proven Ability To Generate New Business.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Managing A Team Of Sales Professionals, So The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team Towards Achieving Common Goals. They Should Also Have Experience In Training And Mentoring Junior Team Members.

  • Extensive Network And Industry Knowledge: The Executive Director Should Have A Strong Network Of Contacts Within The Alternative Investment Industry, Particularly On The West Coast. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape And Be Able To Identify Potential Opportunities For Growth And Expansion.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Representative Of Morgan Stanley, The Executive Director Should Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, Both Verbally And In Written Form. They Should Be Able To Effectively Convey Complex Investment Concepts To Clients And Prospects, And Be Comfortable Presenting To Large Groups.
