
Equity Operations Analyst

- Perform daily trade and position reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data and identify any discrepancies.
- Monitor and reconcile cash and securities settlements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with various teams, including traders, sales, and operations, to resolve trade and settlement breaks.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Stay updated on market and regulatory changes that may impact equity operations and communicate any updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain and update relevant databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prepare and distribute reports on trade and settlement activity, including any exceptions or issues.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, such as system implementations or process enhancements.
- Communicate with external parties, such as custodians and brokers, to resolve any trade or settlement-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on equity operations and provide guidance and training to junior team members.
- Proactively identify and escalate any potential risks or issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making processes.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
