Director, Technology Risk Oversight

1. Lead and oversee all aspects of technology risk management for Morgan Stanley, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. Assess and identify potential technology risks across the organization, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
3. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the highest level of technology risk management and oversight.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology risks, and provide guidance and recommendations for risk mitigation.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology risk management processes and controls, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure a strong understanding of technology risk management and oversight practices.
7. Stay current with industry trends and developments in technology risk management, and make recommendations for incorporating new tools and technologies into our risk management strategy.
8. Provide leadership and direction to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the Technology Risk Oversight team.
9. Communicate regularly with senior management and other stakeholders on the status of technology risks and the effectiveness of risk management efforts.
10. Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on technology risk management to various teams and departments within the organization.
11. Conduct regular training and awareness programs to educate employees on technology risk management and best practices.
12. Collaborate with external auditors and regulators as needed to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
13. Continuously review and improve technology risk management processes and procedures to align with changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to technology risk management.
15. Act as a brand ambassador for Morgan Stanley, promoting our commitment to excellence and innovation in technology risk management.
