Data Warehouse Engineer

Morgan Stanley is looking for a technically savvy and experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team. As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions that enable us to capture, store, and analyze large volumes of data. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in data technology and a passion for data management.We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise data warehouse design and development. You should have strong knowledge of database design and development, data modeling, ETL, data transformation, and SQL. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of modern data warehouse architectures, data integration solutions, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions that capture, store, and analyze large volumes of data • Create data models, ETL processes, and data transformation processes • Use modern data warehouse architectures and data integration solutions to ensure efficient data storage and analysis • Implement cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for data storage and analysis • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any potential issues • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure successful data warehouse solutions • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members • Ensure data security by implementing proper access control measures • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to data warehouse engineering
