
Cost Allocation Controller
Morgan Stanley is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Allocation Controller to join our team and take on an essential role in the firm's financial operations. The ideal candidate for this position will have a demonstrated proficiency in cost allocation and budgeting, as well as a keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to excellence. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in cost allocation, budgeting, and/or financial analysis. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. In addition, the successful candidate must have advanced proficiency with Excel and other relevant software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.We are looking for someone who is organized, results-driven, and highly motivated. The Cost Allocation Controller will be a key member of the Finance team who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document cost allocation and budgeting processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to cost allocations and budgets.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance and suggest corrective actions.
- Conduct research into cost allocation and budgeting best practices.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain cost allocation models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline and improve cost allocation and budgeting processes.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Assist in the development of training materials related to cost allocation and budgeting.
