Job Description

Morgan Stanley is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Allocation Controller to join our team and take on an essential role in the firm's financial operations. The ideal candidate for this position will have a demonstrated proficiency in cost allocation and budgeting, as well as a keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to excellence. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in cost allocation, budgeting, and/or financial analysis. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. In addition, the successful candidate must have advanced proficiency with Excel and other relevant software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.We are looking for someone who is organized, results-driven, and highly motivated. The Cost Allocation Controller will be a key member of the Finance team who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and document cost allocation and budgeting processes.
  2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to cost allocations and budgets.
  3. Monitor and evaluate financial performance and suggest corrective actions.
  4. Conduct research into cost allocation and budgeting best practices.
  5. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  6. Develop and maintain cost allocation models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to streamline and improve cost allocation and budgeting processes.
  8. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  9. Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
  10. Assist in the development of training materials related to cost allocation and budgeting.
