Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager who can provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services to the firm and its clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws, regulations, and policies. This position requires an individual with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as an unwavering commitment to delivering accurate and timely results. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and recommend effective tax strategies to ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Lead and supervise the preparation of tax returns for Morgan Stanley and its clients.
  3. Monitor changing regulatory and legislative developments and analyze their implications for the firm's tax obligations.
  4. Analyze the financial impacts of proposed transactions and provide tax advice and guidance accordingly.
  5. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and other external parties.
  6. Prepare accurate and timely tax reports and provide comprehensive tax planning advice.
  7. Manage and review the work of junior tax staff.
  8. Identify potential tax savings and develop strategies to reduce the firm's tax burden.
