  1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate potential disruptions to the global financial institution's operations.
  2. Maintain and update business continuity plans to ensure the organization's resiliency.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity plans are aligned with overall business objectives.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing business continuity processes and procedures.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to business continuity and resilience.
  7. Communicate with key stakeholders to provide updates on business continuity efforts and address any concerns or questions.
  8. Lead training and awareness programs for employees to ensure they are prepared to respond to potential disruptions.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support business continuity efforts.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the organization's business continuity and resilience initiatives.
  11. Conduct regular tests and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity plans.
  12. Coordinate and collaborate with external agencies and regulatory bodies on business continuity and resilience matters.
  13. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  14. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the organization's business continuity and resilience.
  15. Participate in incident response and recovery efforts as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Business Continuity And Resilience Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Principles And Best Practices Related To Business Continuity And Resilience, Including Risk Assessment, Business Impact Analysis, And Crisis Management.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Business Continuity Plans: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Business Continuity Plans For Large Organizations, Including Identifying Critical Business Functions, Developing Recovery Strategies, And Conducting Exercises To Test The Effectiveness Of The Plans.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Regulatory Requirements Related To Business Continuity And Resilience, Such As The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (Ffiec) Guidelines, As Well As Industry Standards Such As Iso 22301.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Assess The Potential Impact Of Disruptive Events On The Organization And Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Risks And Ensure Business Continuity.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders Across Different Levels Of The Organization, Including Senior Management, To Ensure Buy-In And Support For Business Continuity And Resilience Initiatives.
