  1. Conduct thorough operational due diligence on investment managers and identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for managing operational risks and enhancing operational efficiency.
  3. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of operational risk controls and procedures.
  4. Coordinate with various departments and teams within the organization to ensure consistency and alignment in risk management practices.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to operational due diligence and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  6. Lead and participate in meetings and discussions related to operational due diligence, providing expertise and insights to inform decision-making.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis.
  8. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on operational risks and due diligence findings.
  9. Collaborate with investment teams to provide support and guidance on operational due diligence matters.
  10. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to operational due diligence practices.
  11. Provide training and guidance to junior team members on operational due diligence processes and best practices.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  13. Continuously assess and improve operational due diligence processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Represent the company in external meetings and conferences related to operational due diligence.
  15. Adhere to company values and code of conduct at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Operational Due Diligence: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Conducting Operational Due Diligence In The Financial Services Industry. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices, Regulatory Requirements, And Risk Management Protocols.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As An Assistant Vice President/Vice President Of Gima Operational Due Diligence, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Evaluate Complex Operational Structures And Identify Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Alternative Investments: Morgan Stanley Deals Heavily In Alternative Investments, Such As Hedge Funds, Private Equity, And Real Estate. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Investment Vehicles And The Associated Operational Risks Involved.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Candidate Must Have Experience In Managing A Team Of Due Diligence Professionals And Leading Them Towards A Common Goal. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Mentorship, And Ensure That All Team Members Are Working Together Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Relationship Building Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Present Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management And Clients.
