Job Description

At Morgan Stanley, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This individual must have a proven track record of success in managing all aspects of accounts payable operations, including the processing and review of invoices, employee expense reimbursements, and vendor payments.The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounts payable, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, internal clients, and senior management. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of accounts payable operations, including the processing and review of invoices, employee expense reimbursements, and vendor payments.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timely payment of all accounts payable transactions.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal clients, and senior management.
  4. Analyze accounts payable data and create reports for review by senior management.
  5. Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end close activities.
  6. Research and resolve any accounts payable discrepancies.
  7. Monitor accounts payable performance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
  9. Identify areas of risk and recommend strategies to address them.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
