Associate Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and talented Associate Scientist to join our R&D team at Mondelez International. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The successful Associate Scientist will have a passion for scientific experimentation and research and a commitment to developing innovative solutions.We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a related research and development laboratory setting, preferably within the food or beverage industry. Other qualifications include excellent communication skills, creative problem solving abilities, and the ability to develop and implement plans with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead scientific experiments and research to develop innovative solutions.
2. Interpret data, analyze results, and present findings in a clear and concise manner to internal teams.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop plans and manage projects.
4. Utilize knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
5. Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
6. Utilize creative problem solving abilities to identify and solve scientific issues.
7. Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
8. Review and update existing protocols, procedures, and reports.
9. Provide technical advice and support to other members of the team.
10. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the food and beverage industry.
