Transportation Assistant

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an energetic, organized Transportation Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation, customer service, and working with patients to ensure safe and comfortable transport. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation.
2. Schedule and coordinate transportation for patients and staff as needed.
3. Provide customer service and support to patients and staff.
4. Monitor fleet maintenance and schedule vehicle repairs as needed.
5. Track and report transportation expenses and mileage.
6. Maintain records of transport services provided.
7. Provide feedback and updates to managers and other staff as needed.
8. Assist with filing and other administrative tasks as needed.
9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
10. Maintain a valid driver’s license.
