Patient Observer

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Patient Observer to join our patient care team. We are an internationally recognized leader in the fight against cancer and are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring patients’ comfort throughout their hospital stay. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the patient observation process, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and observe patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team
2. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient observations
3. Assist with patient comfort measures as directed
4. Ensure patient safety and security at all times
5. Provide support to patients and their families
6. Assist with admission and discharge processes
7. Respond appropriately to patient needs and inquiries
8. Support a clean and safe environment
9. Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
10. Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice
