
Oncology Technician
Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to our oncology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology as well as excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational support to the oncology practice.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Assist in patient care and comfort.
- Assist in patient registration, data entry, and insurance verification.
- Assist with scheduling patient appointments and treatments.
- Monitor patient care and progress in accordance with established protocols.
- Answer patient inquiries regarding treatments and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Assist in collection of specimens and delivery of test results.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
