Oncology Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate oncology pharmacy technician to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to patient care and safety, and must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This individual must also have knowledge of oncology medication therapeutics and experience with automated dispensing systems. Responsibilities:

1. Utilize automated dispensing systems to accurately dispense medication for oncology patients.
2. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation.
3. Work with oncology team members to ensure that medication therapies are appropriate and effective.
4. Assist patients and families with understanding their treatment plan and medication instructions.
5. Monitor inventory and order new medications when needed.
6. Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
7. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in oncology care.
8. Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients and their families.
