Job Description

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Oncology Fellow. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing patient-centered care and have a commitment to expanding the knowledge and understanding of oncology care. This position will require a combination of clinical and research experience, as well as a commitment to continual learning and professional development.The successful candidate will bring an understanding of the latest treatments and technologies related to oncology care. The Oncology Fellow will have an opportunity to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to our cancer patients.The successful candidate must have a minimum of an MD degree and have completed an accredited Oncology Fellowship program. Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in an academic medical center and be board certified in Oncology. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive and patient-centered oncology care.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
  3. Utilize the latest treatments and technologies related to oncology care.
  4. Provide presentations and lectures to educate and inform the medical team and patients about oncology care.
  5. Participate in research projects related to oncology care.
  6. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology care.
  9. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain a valid medical license.
