Job Description

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Neuropathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals and provide high-level diagnostic services. Our ideal candidate has a passion for providing the highest quality of patient care and a demonstrated commitment to excellence.The Neuropathologist must have expertise in the full range of diagnostic neuropathology services, including surgical and autopsy neuropathology. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.This individual must have a medical degree in pathology or neurology, certification in neuropathology by the American Board of Pathology or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience in neuropathology.

Responsibilities:

-Provide high-level diagnostic services in the full range of neuropathology services, including surgical and autopsy neuropathology -Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families -Perform accurate diagnoses and interpret test results -Provide patient care according to established standards and protocols -Maintain detailed records of patient care and progress -Participate in research projects and other related activities -Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards -Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care -Serve as a mentor and role model to junior staff members
