
Manager - Nutrition Services
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a talented and driven Manager of Nutrition Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful management of the Nutrition Services department and for providing exceptional nutrition services and guidance to our patients and their families. You will lead a team of dietitians, nutritionists, and other food service professionals, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of our Nutrition Services program.You will bring to the role a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a large healthcare or food services organization, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field. You will have a strong knowledge of nutrition principles, as well as an understanding of the unique dietary needs of cancer patients. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you will be able to motivate and lead a team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Nutrition Services department that are in line with the goals of the Moffitt Cancer Center.
- Lead and motivate a team of dietitians, nutritionists, and other food service professionals.
- Ensure meals provided to patients and their families meet the highest standards of nutrition and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide the best possible nutrition services for all patients.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding food safety and nutrition.
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families.
- Develop and manage the department budget.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members. 10.Keep abreast of new developments in nutrition and food services.
