HVAC Refrigeration Technician

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and qualified HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with a passion for delivering excellent service to our customers and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems and a strong commitment to safety. The HVAC Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing HVAC and refrigeration systems within the facility.To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Refrigeration Technician, a valid refrigeration and HVAC certification, and a valid driver’s license. In addition, applicants should demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and refrigeration system issues.
3. Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
4. Maintain documentation of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
5. Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
7. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
8. Monitor and inspect HVAC and refrigeration systems to detect potential problems.
9. Read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
10. Follow instructions and specifications to complete tasks.
