Job Description

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Assistance Auditor to join our team. As a Financial Assistance Auditor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial assistance data and processing patient financial assistance requests in a timely manner. In this role, you will foster strong relationships with patients and families to ensure they understand their financial obligations and are able to access the financial assistance they need.The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced auditor who is organized, analytical, and customer service-oriented. You should have a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and a deep commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough financial assistance audits to ensure accuracy of data.
  2. Process patient financial assistance requests in a timely manner.
  3. Foster strong relationships with patients and families to ensure they understand their financial obligations and can access financial assistance.
  4. Utilize generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to ensure accuracy.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
  6. Ensure patient experience is positive by providing timely and accurate information.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of patient financial assistance policies and procedures.
  8. Analyze and review patient financial information to ensure accuracy.
  9. Responsible for resolving any discrepancies or problems that arise with patient financial assistance requests.
  10. Maintain detailed financial assistance records for auditing and compliance purposes.
