Facilities Maintenance Lead

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Lead to join our team. The Facilities Maintenance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Moffitt Cancer Center's facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid background in building maintenance and a proven track record of successfully completing projects on-time and on-budget. We are looking for a self-starter who is capable of working independently and collaboratively within a large team.The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in engineering, building maintenance, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar role and a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilites:

1. Oversee maintenance and repairs of Moffitt Cancer Center's facilities and equipment.
2. Research and recommend solutions to maintenance and repair problems.
3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
4. Monitor and assess the quality of work completed by outside vendors and contractors.
5. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities.
6. Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs.
7. Communicate effectively with other departments and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
8. Work collaboratively within a large team while also being able to work independently.
9. Utilize problem-solving and communication skills to resolve any issues that arise.
10. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
