Environmental Service Technician

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for a highly organized and motivated Environmental Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate about the environment and have extensive experience in housekeeping, janitorial and/or environmental services. As an Environmental Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for Moffitt patients, visitors, and staff. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a safe and clean environment at the Moffitt Cancer Center to meet the standards of the organization.
2. Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and other areas of the facility.
3. Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify any areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
4. Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of staff and patients.
5. Utilize appropriate cleaning materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
6. Ensure adequate supplies are available to complete daily tasks.
7. Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.
8. Report any damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
9. Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.
10. Other related duties as assigned.
