Echocardiographer

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Echocardiographer to join our team. We are seeking a professional who takes pride in their work and has a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, the successful candidate will use echocardiography to diagnose and evaluate cardiac diseases and disorders.The ideal candidate should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Science or related field, as well as a minimum of two years of echocardiography experience. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in cardiac anatomy and physiology, possesses excellent organizational skills, and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In addition, the candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities: • Perform echocardiography procedures to diagnose and evaluate cardiac diseases and disorders. • Follow established protocols and protocols for patient safety. • Utilize and properly maintain the echocardiography equipment. • Provide detailed reports of the echocardiography findings to the medical team for further diagnosis. • Educate patients and families on the procedure and the results. • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other healthcare professionals. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. • Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in echocardiography.
