Clinical Research Billing Specialist

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Billing Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of serving our community and making a difference in the fight against cancer. This individual will be responsible for various duties related to billing and reimbursement activities for clinical research studies and clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care, customer service, and be knowledgeable in financial policies and procedures related to clinical research.The successful candidate must possess a minimum of two years of experience in clinical research billing, a strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate effectively and to work in a team-oriented environment is essential. Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research billing and reimbursement regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day clinical research billing and reimbursement activities.
2. Ensure accurate and timely submission of clinical research bills and reimbursement requests.
3. Monitor and analyze clinical research billing and reimbursement activity to identify areas of improvement.
4. Maintain knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research billing and reimbursement regulations.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable billing and reimbursement regulations.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.
7. Provide exceptional customer service in responding to inquiries related to billing and reimbursement.
8. Develop and maintain efficient processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy of clinical research billing and reimbursement activities.
9. Evaluate and recommend changes to existing clinical research billing and reimbursement systems.
10. Maintain accurate records of all clinical research billing and reimbursement activities.
