Clinical Informatics Nurse

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Informatics Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in nursing and clinical informatics to provide an array of support services related to clinical information systems, data analysis, and patient care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate team player who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.The successful candidate must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing and at least two years of experience in a clinical informatics role. You must also be knowledgeable in clinical information systems and patient care processes, and have experience using various software tools and applications. Additionally, strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide a variety of support services related to clinical information systems, data analysis, and patient care.
2. Maintain knowledge of clinical information systems and patient care processes.
3. Utilize various software tools and applications to support the delivery of quality patient care.
4. Communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues related to clinical information systems.
6. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
7. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgement to make decisions that prioritize patient safety and quality of care.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
10. Remain current with industry best practices and trends.
