Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure sterile equipment is properly prepared, inspected, and stored according to established standards and procedures.
2. Follow all safety protocols related to the handling of sterile equipment.
3. Maintain accurate records of all sterilization and decontamination activities.
4. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with sterile processing equipment.
6. Train and mentor new staff members in sterile processing techniques.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
8. Monitor inventory levels of sterile equipment and supplies.
9. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and clean.
10. Follow infection control protocols and procedures.
