
Certified Diabetics Educator
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Certified Diabetics Educator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diabetes education services to our patients and their families.We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those living with diabetes. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive diabetes education services to patients and families.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with patients and families.
- Develop tailored diabetes education plans for patients and families based on individual needs.
- Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up education as needed.
- Educate and assist patients in utilizing self-management techniques and strategies.
- Participate in healthcare team meetings to provide updates on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient education sessions.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments in diabetes care and education to ensure best practices.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote diabetes education and awareness.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
