Job Description

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Cancer Researcher to join our world-renowned team. As a leader in cancer research, our goal is to improve patient care through innovative research and to ultimately find a cure for cancer. If you have a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to making a difference in the fight against cancer, we would love to hear from you!The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in oncology or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of cancer research experience. In addition to a strong academic background, you will have a deep understanding of the complexities of cancer research, superior problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be highly organized and capable of multitasking and prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role as you will be interacting with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders in the cancer research community. Lastly, a deep commitment to excellence and a passion for advancing the field of cancer research is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute cancer research projects in tandem with the team at Moffitt Cancer Center.
  2. Analyze complex data and develop meaningful insights to support cancer research.
  3. Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders in the cancer research community.
  5. Stay up to date on the latest developments in the field of cancer research.
  6. Collaborate with other researchers to pursue innovative approaches to advancing cancer research.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant organizations and institutions in the cancer research community.
  8. Work with team members to ensure that research projects are completed on time and within budget.
  9. Prepare and present reports on completed research projects.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
