Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Apheresis Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Moffitt Cancer Center. This individual will be responsible for performing therapeutic apheresis procedures in order to help treat and manage hematologic and oncologic diseases. The ideal candidate will have experience in therapeutic apheresis procedures and will be committed to providing excellent patient care. The successful applicant must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.To be considered for this role, the applicant must have a current registered nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida, as well as certification in therapeutic apheresis (CHT or CTP). The ideal candidate will also possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in therapeutic apheresis procedures. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures to treat and manage hematologic and oncologic diseases.
  2. Provide excellent patient care and maintain a positive attitude.
  3. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Maintain a current registered nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
  5. Hold certification in therapeutic apheresis (CHT or CTP).
  6. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in therapeutic apheresis procedures.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for performing therapeutic apheresis procedures.
  8. Monitor patient’s vital signs and alert the physician of any changes.
  9. Document all patient procedures and treatments.
  10. Educate patients and family members about therapeutic apheresis procedures.
