
Ultrasound Technologist
At Miriam Hospital, we are looking for a talented and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for their work and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.The successful applicant must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology or a related field, and must be ARDMS certified or eligible for certification. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work independently and in a team environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.We are seeking a professional who is detail-oriented and passionate about providing high quality ultrasound services to our patients. The right individual should be comfortable working with both adults and children and have an ability to adapt to changing technologies. If you are a reliable and dedicated professional with a strong sense of patient care, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding patient care through the use of ultrasound technology • Maintain ARDMS certification or eligibility for certification • Work independently and in a team environment • Follow standard operating procedures and protocols • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff • Perform ultrasound exams in a fast-paced environment • Monitor and adjust ultrasound equipment • Transfer ultrasound images and results to physicians for review • Prepare and maintain patient records • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures • Maintain a clean and organized work area
