
Patient Scheduler

You’ll also be the first point of contact for patients, so excellent customer service skills are a must.If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you.To be successful as a Patient Scheduler at Miriam Hospital, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of experience in a related field. Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care with other health care providers.

- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge to provide accurate information to patients.
- Ensure that patient privacy is maintained throughout all interactions.
- Ensure that all patient scheduling processes comply with applicable regulations.
- Monitor and follow up on patient wait times and cancellations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal patient care.
