
Patient Flow Coordinator
The Patient Flow Coordinator is a key role at Miriam Hospital, ensuring that the patient experience is smooth and efficient. We are looking for an organized and customer-service-oriented individual who can take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of patients and medical staff. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the patient flow process, from registration and admission to discharge and follow-up. Responsibilites:
- Monitor patient flow process from registration to discharge to ensure smooth and efficient experience.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of patients and medical staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and track patient admissions and discharges to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient flow.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with staff, patients, and family members.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to stay up to date on best practices.
