Welcome to the team at Miriam Hospital! We are excited to be looking for an enthusiastic and talented Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing treatment programs for patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. You will promote well-being, independence, and productivity by helping patients develop, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Rhode Island, and have at least two years of experience in similar roles. You will have excellent clinical skills and be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with patients and their families.We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and has a commitment to helping our team achieve its goals. Responsibilities:

Assess patient needs through direct observations, interviews, and assessments.
Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual patient’s needs and abilities.
Monitor and evaluate progress of patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities.
Educate and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families.
Maintain complete and accurate clinical records.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Stay abreast of developments in the field of Occupational Therapy.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Job Qualifications

Possess A Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy
