Job Description

Miriam Hospital is looking for a highly organized and motivated Clinical Research Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This individual will be a vital part of our growing research program and will help us achieve our mission to provide world-class patient care. The successful candidate should have a passion for clinical research and an understanding of medical research protocols and procedures. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, biology, or psychology, and at least two years of relevant experience in clinical research. They should have experience with IRB submission processes, the ability to interpret research data, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Clinical Research Program Coordinator should also have a strong understanding of HIPAA and other applicable regulations. This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a self-starter with an eye for detail and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a given day.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple clinical research projects and coordinate activities between stakeholders, including patients, research staff, and other health professionals • Interpret research data and develop reports to present to stakeholders • Monitor clinical research protocol compliance and ensure research activities are in line with HIPAA regulations • Submit and manage IRB submissions and renewals • Troubleshoot issues related to clinical research protocols and procedures • Track research projects and ensure deadlines are met • Prepare presentations and materials to educate internal and external stakeholders on clinical research projects • Maintain updated records of research activities • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure research projects are completed on time and within budget constraints
