Cardiac Rehab RN

We’re delighted to be looking for a Cardiac Rehab RN to join our team at Miriam Hospital. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded, passionate professional who is ready to make a difference in the lives of our cardiac rehab patients. We’re looking for a talented individual to provide nursing and rehabilitation related care to patients in our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care, demonstrate a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude.The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid RN license in Rhode Island. In addition, we’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care or cardiac rehab, and a working knowledge of patient care standards, hospital policies and procedures. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, is organized and detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to providing quality patient care. Responsibilities: -Provide nursing and rehabilitation related care to patients in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program -Ensure that patient care standards, hospital policies and procedures are followed -Develop individualized care plans for each patient -Monitor and document patient progress -Maintain accurate patient records -Provide support and education to patients and their families -Assist physicians with various treatments and procedures -Participate in team meetings and training sessions to keep up with changing standards -Assist with coordinating patient appointments, tests, and follow-up visits -Provide patient education on cardiac rehabilitation and lifestyle changes -Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
