In this role, you will be a key part of our underwriting process, driving the development of innovative solutions and delivering superior customer service.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in underwriting or related field. You must be highly organized and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess risk for underwriting decisions.
- Analyze data and financial information to determine the most advantageous underwriting terms.
- Develop innovative solutions that increase profitability and customer service.
- Monitor and update underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Provide customer service to clients in relation to underwriting decisions.
- Prepare reports and other documents related to underwriting.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Identify and address any potential risks or issues with the underwriting process.
