Job Description

As a Sales Trainee for MetLife's Group Benefit Sales team, you will have the opportunity to learn the industry from the ground up and be part of a collaborative team of motivated professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. They must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Additionally, they must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, while also being able to work independently when needed.If you are motivated by success and driven to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the sales process of MetLife's Group Benefit Sales team and develop the necessary skills.
  2. Utilize Microsoft Office to manage sales data and customer relationships.
  3. Maintain excellent communication with team members and customers.
  4. Demonstrate problem solving and organizational skills.
  5. Maintain a positive attitude and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Maintain customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  7. Develop a deep understanding of the industry.
  8. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
