Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to meet the organization's procurement objectives.
2. Analyze price and performance of existing and potential suppliers and vendors.
3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for the best possible prices and terms.
4. Monitor delivery performance of suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
5. Maintain and update procurement records, such as contracts, purchase orders, and inventories.
6. Research and identify new suppliers and vendors, and evaluate them based on price, quality, and reliability.
7. Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure a high level of customer service.
8. Develop and adhere to procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
9. Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
10. Provide guidance and direction to team members on procurement processes and procedures.
