Job Description

MetLife is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join our Private Equity team in our Managed Investments and Solutions (MIM) division. As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals and play a critical role in managing our private equity investments. If you have a strong background in finance and investments, excellent analytical skills, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

  1. Conduct in-depth financial analysis of potential and existing private equity investments.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the performance of current private equity investments.
  3. Identify and research new investment opportunities in the private equity market.
  4. Collaborate with team members to develop investment strategies and make recommendations for portfolio management.
  5. Communicate with external partners, including fund managers and investment advisors, to gather information and assess potential investments.
  6. Prepare and present reports on investment performance and market trends to senior management.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and market conditions related to private equity.
  8. Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments, including financial modeling and risk assessment.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of investments, transactions, and other relevant information.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure all investments are in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  11. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving investment strategies and processes.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the private equity industry.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  14. Represent MetLife and the Private Equity team in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Private Equity Or Investment Banking.
