Responsibilities of the Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist:
- Oversee and manage the long term disability (LTD) claims process.
- Analyze the LTD process to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to claimants and stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure that LTD claims are processed in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all LTD claims.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful outcomes for LTD claims.
- Serve as a resource for other team members regarding LTD claims.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
