Responsibilities of the Lead Long Term Disability Claims Specialist:

  1. Oversee and manage the long term disability (LTD) claims process.
  2. Analyze the LTD process to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to claimants and stakeholders.
  4. Respond to inquiries and address concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor and ensure that LTD claims are processed in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all LTD claims.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful outcomes for LTD claims.
  8. Serve as a resource for other team members regarding LTD claims.
  9. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
  10. Remain current on disability laws and regulations.
