MetLife is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our Investment team. This individual will have a critical role in the execution of our investment strategy and will be responsible for performing detailed analyses and generating insights to drive decisions. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, a broad knowledge of investment products, and a deep understanding of the financial markets. We are looking for an individual with a passion for the investment industry, the ability to think creatively, and excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in investment analysis. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. This individual must demonstrate the ability to perform detailed quantitative analysis and possess strong organizational and project management skills. Experience in capital markets and portfolio management is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quantitative analysis of investments and generate insights to drive decisions.
- Monitor the financial markets to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Analyze portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to the investment strategy.
- Research potential investments and evaluate potential risks and rewards.
- Assist in the development of investment models and strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external investment partners.
- Maintain detailed records of investment transactions and portfolio performance.
- Prepare and present investment reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up to date on new developments and trends in the investment industry.
- Assist with other tasks related to the investment process.
