Job Description

At MetLife, we are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and help us ensure fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong financial background, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable with numbers. The successful candidate will have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in a financial role. Experience with financial software, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.The Finance Manager will be an integral part of our team, and will be responsible for managing our financial operations. Responsibilities of a Finance Manager:

  1. Oversee and manage financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and accounting.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  3. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  4. Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  5. Work closely with stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and vendors, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  6. Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  7. Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
  8. Develop and manage financial systems to maximize efficiency.
  9. Provide training and mentoring to staff on financial and accounting procedures.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
