  1. Develop and implement compliance and risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  3. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance and risk management matters.
  6. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Analyze data and prepare reports on compliance and risk management activities.
  8. Identify and report any potential compliance violations or risks to senior management.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on compliance and risk management for employees.
  10. Participate in industry forums and stay updated on compliance and risk management best practices.
  11. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
  13. Prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
  14. Recommend improvements to existing compliance and risk management processes.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and resource for compliance and risk management related inquiries.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Compliance Regulations: A Compliance Consultant At Metlife Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Risk Assessment And Management, Including But Not Limited To Sox, Gdpr, And Hipaa.

  • Experience In Risk Assessment: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Risk Management Strategies. This Includes Identifying Potential Risks, Evaluating Their Potential Impact, And Implementing Controls To Mitigate Them.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Compliance Consultant, Effective Communication Is Essential. This Includes The Ability To Clearly And Concisely Convey Complex Compliance Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Employees, And External Auditors.

  • Analytical Thinking: The Role Of A Compliance Consultant Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Patterns And Trends. This Includes The Ability To Critically Evaluate Information, Identify Potential Compliance Issues, And Develop Solutions To Address Them.

  • Attention To Detail: Compliance Is A Highly Regulated Industry And Requires Meticulous Attention To Detail. A Successful Compliance Consultant At Metlife Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Compliance Processes And Procedures Are Accurately Followed And Documented.
