- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, and order replacements as needed to ensure a continuous supply for maintenance needs.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Stay up-to-date with technical advancements and industry trends to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Train and mentor new technicians as needed and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of the maintenance team.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Merit Medical Systems, and actively contribute to a positive work culture.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Maintenance Technician In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment Is Required. This Experience Should Include Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Machinery And Equipment.
Technical Skills: Strong Mechanical And Electrical Skills Are Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical Systems, Hydraulic And Pneumatic Systems, And Electrical Components. Experience With Plcs And Other Automated Control Systems Is Also Preferred.
Attention To Detail: Maintenance Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify Potential Issues And Ensure Equipment Is Functioning Properly. They Should Be Able To Follow Safety Protocols And Adhere To Strict Quality Standards While Performing Maintenance Tasks.
Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ability To Quickly Diagnose And Troubleshoot Problems Is Crucial For A Maintenance Technician. Candidates Should Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Find Solutions To Complex Maintenance Issues.
