  1. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect company information and data.
  2. Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any vulnerabilities in the company's systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company's security measures are current and effective.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
  6. Respond to and investigate security incidents, and take appropriate action to contain and mitigate any damage.
  7. Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
  8. Train employees on security protocols and best practices to ensure the protection of company information.
  9. Work closely with IT and other departments to identify and resolve security issues and implement security solutions.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to provide updates on security issues and recommendations for improvement.
  11. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company's ability to respond to and recover from security incidents.
  12. Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  13. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of third-party systems and data.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and make recommendations for improvement.
  15. Stay current with industry certifications and training to maintain a high level of expertise in information security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Medical Device Industry.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Information Security Principles, Best Practices, And Regulations (E.g. Hipaa, Gdpr).

  • Strong Technical Skills In Network Security, Risk Assessment, Incident Response, And Vulnerability Management.
