Information Security Analyst
dentify, assess and investigate anomalous activity by analyzing and correlating a variety of application, network and host-based security events and logs across various computing environments (on-premise, cloud, SaaS, etc.). Triage and categorize security events and determine the correct response actions and escalation paths for each security related event. Coordinate with various technology tools and automation to improve the abilities for detection, escalation and remediation of security issues. Perform risk analysis of vulnerabilities and threats and evaluate efficiency of existing protection and detection mechanisms. Help coordinate and drive remediation of identified risks and control deficiencies. Appropriately instrument systems and applications to detect and alert on indicators of compromise and various types of known attacks.
Industry certification such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, GCFA, CEH, CISA, CISM is a plus.
Three or more years in Information Technology experience
Experienced deploying security solutions, architecting detection and response solution to mature capabilities.
Understanding of OWASP top 10, SANS top 25, and other attack vectors.
