  1. Provide compassionate and specialized care to patients at Mercy Hospital's Visiting Specialty Clinic.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Perform comprehensive and accurate assessments of patients' health status and needs.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments and interventions.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  10. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  12. Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of specialty nursing.
  13. Provide support and guidance to less experienced nurses and healthcare staff.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare facilities and providers to coordinate care for patients.
  15. Display professionalism and uphold the values and mission of Mercy Hospital.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Clinical Experience In A Specialty Area, Such As Cardiology, Oncology, Or Neurology

  • Bls, Acls, And/Or Pals Certification, Depending On The Specific Specialty Clinic

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Multi-Disciplinary Healthcare Teams

  • Flexibility To Work Varying Shifts And Schedules, Including Weekends And Holidays, To Meet The Needs Of The Specialty Clinic's Patient Population.
