  1. Provide exceptional healthcare to patients at our visiting clinics, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered at all times.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Stay current with nursing best practices and continue professional development through education and training opportunities.
  11. Assist with the coordination and organization of visiting clinics and patient appointments.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  13. Serve as an advocate for patients and their needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Visiting Specialty Clinic Registered Nurse At Mercy Should Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Basic Nursing Skills And Knowledge.

  • Current Rn License: The Candidate Should Hold A Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment. This Is A Mandatory Requirement To Practice As A Nurse And To Ensure Patient Safety.

  • Specialty Certification: Mercy May Prefer Candidates Who Hold Specialty Certifications Related To The Clinic's Focus, Such As Oncology, Cardiology Or Pediatrics. This Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Specialty Area.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience: Mercy May Require Candidates To Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In A Clinical Setting. This Ensures The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Is Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Visiting Specialty Clinic Registered Nurse, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Building Trust, Providing Quality Care, And Working Effectively As Part Of A Team.
