Job Description

At Mercy, we are looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of sonographic technology and the ability to interpret and assess images accurately. We are seeking someone who is a team player and is passionate about providing quality patient care.To be considered for this position, you must have an Associate's Degree in sonography, current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), and at least one year of ultrasound experience. It is preferred that you have experience with fetal echocardiograms. You must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication and customer service skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with using the latest sonographic technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of ultrasound scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
  2. Interpret and assess ultrasound images accurately.
  3. Maintain a team-oriented approach to patient care.
  4. Provide quality patient care.
  5. Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines.
  6. Keep up-to-date on the latest sonographic technology.
  7. Maintain current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  8. Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  9. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Maintain accurate records of patient exams.
